SURFING IS FOR EVERYONE!!!!

Sometimes surfing is fun and sometimes it is frustrating.
Quality access to the Web is becoming as much a necessary part of daily
life is the phone, radio or TV, but sometimes for some people there are
needless barriers.  Images require text tags associated with them and  
audio
and video needs transcriptions or captions.  to make access universal.

The Wave is a Web-based tool that will assist designers in testing their
pages to identify and rectify any barriers to accessibility for surfers
with disabilities.  The newest version of this tool is Wave 2.0.

What is Wave 2.0 and what does it do for me?
Come to the hour-long, live Webinar on Monday Jan. 28 at 2 PM  
Eastern.  The
Webinar is part of the Webinar series provided by EASI (Equal Access to
Software and Information).  Wave has been upgrade by WebAIM and the  
Webinar
presenter is Jared Smith.  This Webinar is free to the public but you  
need
to register in advance to reserve a seat for the presentation.

WAVE is a web accessibility evaluation tool. It is used to aid humans in
the web accessibility evaluation process. Rather than providing a  
complex
technical report, WAVE shows the original web page with
embedded icons and indicators that reveal the accessibility information
within your page. New features in version 4.0 of WAVE make the  
evaluation
process easier and more powerful.
