Hi everyone,

The Thalia team would like to invite you to help us with testing Thalia.

Thalia is a great way to store, organize, and share images. We're
finishing the pilot phase next month, and will soon open the service to
departments, labs, and projects. Many projects have images that don't
fall in the categories of teaching/learning or scholarly archives.
Thalia is a tool to manage those collections.

Could we interest you in donating an hour of your time to come in and
test Thalia for us?

We are looking for 16 volunteers for usability testing. Testing will
take place this coming week on Tuesday, January 29th and Wednesday the
30th at the Usability Lab in N42. Sessions last an hour. Time slots are
available beginning at 10AM and ending at 5PM. This is a great time to
get to really use Thalia and to tell us what you think should be
added. It's also a chance to experience usability testing, if you
haven't worked with the Usability Lab before.

Please contact Cassandra Boell (boell at mit.edu), if you'd be willing to
come out to test Thalia for an hour and help us make Thalia better.

Lisa, do you take volunteers for monthly webpub topics? I'd be happy to
do one in May. By then we'll have a few months experience with bringing
customers in, and we'll have a sharper sense of what issues and
questions customers should consider. We've learned a lot from our pilot
customers, but we'll learn even more as Thalia ramps up.

Regards-
Janet
