About WebPub	English (USA)
WebPub is one of many user groups at MIT. The WebPub User Group helps web professionals at MIT and beyond stay up to date on trends and news of note. Our audience includes web designers, developers, writers, and producers at all levels, from beginners to seasoned publishers. The group’s goal is to provide continuing education to its members. During the academic year, WebPub members meet to network and attend how-to sessions. Professionals from education and industry speak about their work, and the sessions are podcast for pubic viewing. WebPub members can email the webpub@Mit.edu list to ask questions of each other, or webpub-owner@mit.edu for speaker or post suggestion. Using WebPub
To post a message to all the list members, send email to webpub@mit.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to WebPub
Subscribe to WebPub by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
