Hi folks,

Videos from the recent Drupal camp are now up on TechTv (http://techtv.mit.edu/collections/drupal:1922) -- quality is excellent, though sound issues dog a few videos here and there. This was easily the best of the three camps in my opinion -- possibly because my own Drupal skills are at the point where I get more out of the presentations, or perhaps because I made a point of seeking out people I'd heard about but hadn't yet met. In any case, I had a strong overall sense of individuals and companies taking their game up quite a few notches so that they can play ball in the big leagues.

I also told everyone who would lend an ear about Ben Melancon's forthcoming Definitive Guide to Drupal 7, and in the process have worked up quite a stump speech about why I think this is going to be a landmark book. The chapter on Drush alone justifies buying the book. But it's the overall scope that will have the biggest impact -- 800 pages that essentially condense into a single understanding of the extraordinary power in this platform.

Finally, I wanted to mention the local development company Isovera. They've done Drupal projects at MIT, but it's their training and support services I want to call your attention to, as I think it's safe to say that training and support will mark the front lines of Drupal's progress for the foreseeable future.

Cheers,
Ed
