Hi all,
I'm Jay Sitter, a web developer and designer in Resource Development, having joined MIT back in May of last year. Hi!
I'll be giving a brief-ish introduction to Sass (http://sass-lang.com) on Wednesday, March 5 from 1 to 2pm in W98-302. If you've been wanting to dive into Sass (or want to add your experience to the talk), please join us.
Sass is a CSS "pre-processor" -- it resembles CSS, but is compiled before being sent to the browser, and offers much more than CSS currently can. Imagine being able to use variables, functions, loops, etc. inside of CSS. These are the kinds of things that Sass allows you to do.
If you're planning on coming, please let me know by responding to this email.
You won't need to bring anything specific, but of course feel free to bring your laptop if you want to take notes or try stuff out as we discuss it.
Wednesday, March 5
1 - 2pm
W98-302
Hope to see you then!
-Jay
