Hey 'Pubbers,
Guess what, I'm moving on to a new position at the MIT Energy Initiative as their online communications manager. It's a really great opportunity for me, and I'm looking forward to starting later this month.
My last day at IS&T will be tomorrow (2/8). I have really loved working at IS&T DCAD, and have SO enjoyed heading up WebPub. I'll be around to post interesting articles here and there, and hopefully the WebPub presentations will live on - I plan on attending them if they do, that's for sure!
In case anyone is interested or knows a good candidate for my DCAD job, here's the posting:
Web and Database Consultant (Business Analyst)

"WEB AND DATABASE CONSULTANT, Information Services and Technology (IS&T)-Departmental Consulting and Application Development (DCAD), to assist MIT departments, labs, centers, and programs devise online initiatives and internal applications to improve their business and communication processes by providing business needs analysis, information architecture, and project management to ensure project success. Will communicate effectively with both technologists regarding specifications and product limitations and with departmental administration regarding business goals, mission objectives, and resource availability. "
You get to work with some really cool people, and the projects you work on cross all aspects of MIT life. I'll be offline for the most part from 2/9 - 2/28th, but am happy to help answer questions about the position here and there.
In any case, thanks for the opportunity to being a part of such a great group! Your enthusiasm for all things web has graced me with a community both at MIT and beyond - yeah, Harvard, even you... ;)
Best to you all,
Lisa
