When:  Thursday, April 15, 2010, 6:00pm-7:30pm (with reception to follow at
1737 Cambridge St.) NB: Not our usual time.
 
Details:  Dries started Drupal, a free and Open Source CMS, as a student at
the University of Antwerp. Today, Drupal is used by more than 500,000 sites,
including Sony Music, Warner Brothers Records, the New York Observer,
Forbes, Harvard University, Amnesty International and the Obama White House.
A dedicated community of thousands of active members have contributed more
than 5,000 modules for extending Drupal functionality.
 
In this presentation, Dries will talk about the history of Drupal, and give
an update on Drupal 7, the next major version.
 
Please note: The topic and material of this talk will overlap with Dries¹s
presentation at MIT in October 2009. If you were present at that event, you
will be familiar with the Drupal history­but you are still encouraged to
join us for this Drupal community talk and  reception.
