IS&T is pleased to announce an enhancement to MIT-Google, the campus-wide search engine, based on Google search technology.

The service now enables the MIT community to search both publicly viewable documents and those restricted to the MIT community.

In addition, MIT content publishers can restrict who can search and view their content.

The standard MIT search form has been updated to support secure document search: http://web.mit.edu/search.html . Note that the secure search is currently only supported for restricted content served on web.mit.edu <http://web.mit.edu/> .
