Dear Webpub,
   I just got a quote from the developer working on our new DUE website for a document library module. Our new site is based on Drupal. What they would provide is indexing and search of a document library. It will support PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Text.  The document library would be accessible by DUE staff and provides a way for us to archive and search documents on strategic projects/issues - examples: financial aid, curriculum changes, academic integrity, etc.
  While the quote is reasonable, I am wondering if anyone had already done something like this at MIT that we could take repurpose. Any input would be appreciated.
