Texas Tech University's Department of Theatre & Dance seeks artist-educators for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Theatre, Scene Design (Tenure Track) to begin fall semester, 2013.  The successful candidate will have an MFA in Scene Design, two years full-time college teaching beyond TA level, evidence of professional activity and/or scholarship, and experience teaching scene design on all levels. The abilities to mentor students, collaborate with professional staff, and interact collegially, are required. Must demonstrate: strong teaching abilities, a record of successful creative endeavors, potential for research/scholarly activities, high artistic, academic and ethical standards, ability to foster collaboration between dance and theatre, ability to perform service to the university, and must continue in professional activity.
