Professional Actors' Equity

Internship Program - 2004
Summer in Vermont
Saint Michael's Playhouse enjoys a rich tradition of more than 50 years.
>From its humble beginnings, situated in an old wooden farm building on the
grounds of Saint Michael's College, this professional summer theater has
blossomed into Northern Vermont's Actors' Equity Theater presenting its
works in the state-of-the-art McCarthy Arts Center Theater. Each summer
approximately 13,000 audience members attend this vibrant theater to enjoy
professional productions which feature talent from Broadway, Off-Broadway,
and regional theaters from across the country.
The Playhouse Internship Program provides hands-on advanced training in
theater production, administration and performance. The program offers
students, graduates and other interested persons the opportunity to work
closely with outstanding professionals in each field. This exposure to
professionals at work-and to our audience-teaches interns what theater means
to the life of a community, and how the life of a community enriches its
theater.
