UA Faculty Dinners
TLDR: You can have dinner with a professor of your choice and the UA will reimburse $15 per person/$105 per group!
Hi Undergrads!
Would you like to know your professors better?
This semester, the UA Education Committee is bringing back our student-faculty meal reimbursements program. You and your friends can take a professor/lecturer to dinner and we will reimburse up to $15 per person with a maximum of $105 per group! Have one member of your group fill out this form<https://us16.mailchimp.com/mctx/clicks?url=https%3A%2F%2Fforms.gle%2Fv8aiFpHo8DEFfurh8&xid=cc845160e1&uid=81007902&iid=1e82095fe6&pool=cts&v=2&c=1678293756&h=6ed27d94e85252a3d961b34e8d920219acee51544a6a0ddcc44cf01c139f5b6f>. After confirming that the individual is valid, we will email you shortly with additional details. Fill out the form sooner than later! Reimbursements are limited and on a first come, first serve basis, with 1 reimbursement allowed per student per semester.
A new change for this semester: we are not providing reimbursements for TAs! Our budget ran out quickly last semester, so we decided to make this difficult decision to prioritize strengthening relationships between students and professors/lecturers.
You can reach us at ua-student-faculty-relations at mit.edu with additional questions.

MIT Secular Society Film Showing
The light-hearted but factual film “Marketing the Messiah” tells the story of early Christianity with the help of twelve Biblical scholars, Renaissance masterpieces, and humorous animation. It’s an honest attempt to piece together a very complex and fascinating story, in a way that everyone will enjoy. Following our screening of this film, filmmaker Cameron Reilly will call in from Australia, for Q&A with audience members.

Food Security and Financial Resources
Life as a student can be expensive and navigating the different resources can be challenging. It doesn’t matter who you are; not being able to access enough food to sustain an active healthy lifestyle is an issue that you shouldn’t have to face. If you are a student and are not able to access enough food, these food resources at MIT may be able to help. https://doingwell.mit.edu/foodandfinancial/<https://us16.mailchimp.com/mctx/clicks?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdoingwell.mit.edu%2Ffoodandfinancial%2F&xid=cc845160e1&uid=81007902&iid=1e82095fe6&pool=cts&v=2&c=1678293756&h=d391c79849dc4da5ed98b6bf6edac6cfd2fa39b118e737cb75c57652b07cb2a1>
