We're looking for students across campus who'd like to be more directly
involved with the future of TechMart, so if this interests you, please
reach out to ua-officers at mit.edu to let us know. You can also share

an email to ua-feedback at mit.edu. In collaboration with Rebecca's Cafe,
TechMart will offer staples like vegetables, fruit, rice, flour, pasta,
soups, sauces, grains, spices, meats, dairy. It's located inside Rebecca's
Cafe in Walker Memorial on the second floor. It will be open during Rebecca
Cafe's regular operating hours, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

7:00 - 8:00pm in W20-400. Cabinet meetings are open to all undergraduates.

The Master of Engineering (MEng) degree is a 9-month, professionally
oriented program that utilizes engagement with real world engineering
projects to prepare our graduates for a professional career path. MEng
students can focus in Structural Mechanics and Design or Environmental
Engineering Science. During this information session, we’ll discuss the
degree requirements and the abbreviated internal application process. Lunch
will be served.

Course 1 is committed to making high-level, meaningful internship
opportunities available to all undergraduate students in the department.
Each company that our students work with has close ties to MIT CEE and a
vested interest in our students’ success. The CEE Internship Program works
with each student individually to match them with an internship opportunity
that is unique to their interests and career goals. Join us on October 17
to learn how to participate in the program and hear first-hand experiences
from CEE students who were placed in internships last year. Lunch will be

*Hacking for Freedom: A Hackathon to Stop Sex Trafficking*

The MIT Innovation Initiative and The Freedom Lab will be co-hosting a
hackathon to stop sex trafficking on Oct. 27-28. Human trafficking markets
are estimated to be the third largest and fastest growing illicit market
globally. The challenge themes of the hackathon are: continuous tracking,
measurement, and mapping of human sex trafficking markets. Prizes will be
awarded ($1,000 for 1st place in each track; $500 for 2nd place in each
track) Register as a team or individually by Oct. 22 (we will place you on
a team if you don't have one).

It’s that magical time of year again... Christmas? NO IT’S KRAZY KESEM
WEEK!!
Do you love working with kids? Do you want to serve families facing cancer?
Do you want to give children the chance to be kids again while also getting
to be a kid again yourself?
The mission of Camp Kesem MIT is to serve the kids of cancer patients and
their families, as we put on two free weeks of camp and provide year-round
support for a group of incredible campers aged 6 to 18. From fundraising
over $180K to planning and running all of camp, we do it all. It’s
definitely one of the most rewarding and humbling experiences that you can
have at MIT. If our cause resonates with you, and you’d like to learn more,

CAMIT Grants support arts projects across all disciplines that engage the
MIT community. Current MIT students, faculty, and staff are eligible to
apply for a CAMIT Grant, and applicants can submit proposals individually
or on behalf of a group or organization. Please visit our website to view

Applications are reviewed once a semester by the CAMIT Grants Committee,
and require a project overview, a budget, a résumé, a letter of

The deadline for the next application cycle is Monday, October 22, 2018.
