UA Senate Meeting: 7PM, 35-225

Hi All,

I wanted to bring you all the latest information around the issue of  
dining:

1) The UA Senate is having an emergency meeting tonight, 7PM, 35-225  
(just north of Lobby 7).  There will be light snacks.  All undergrads  
are welcome.	

2) The Consultant's draft report to the Blue Ribbon Committee was  
leaked; you can probably find a copy floating around somewhere.  We  
will highlight points from it for discussion.  The Tech has a summary

3) I'm surprised that this report included specific Mandatory Dining  
recommendations that go beyond anything the Committee ever discussed.   
Something is astray: there either a miscommunication or a  
misrepresentation.  All in all, if this is not the case, I believe  
that student voice is not being accounted for in the decision making  
process.
