Learn about a new Institute-wide contest to transform MIT sponsored by
the MIT Committee on Race and Diversity (CRD)
This contest is open to *everyone *at MIT (faculty, staff, support
staff, graduate and undergraduate students)
We want your ideas for transforming MIT into a more welcoming place for
everyone
Submit your proposals for change.
Ideas can be visual/multi-media, research papers, policy papers,
programmatic and event ideas
$1,000.00 for first prizes (up to three first prizes)
$500.00 for second prizes (up to three second prizes)
$200.00 for third prize (up to three third prizes)
We'll have details on the contest and FREE FOOD at the Kick off
reception Wednesday
Proposals are due on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 5:00 pm
You'll have a chance to send us preliminary outlines for your proposals
and ideas and be able to receive feedback from our subcommittee.
There will be several brainstorming/visioning sessions scheduled during
IAP.
Come to the Kick-off reception, enjoy some good food and find out how
you can change MIT and win cash prizes!
Feel free to send me any questions you may have about the kick off or
the contest.
