Thanks for the report on Valentango.  The turns in place versus the progressive turns is what I was thinking as being a problem.  Even at workshops, I don't really hear too much about progressing down the floor as you're turning.

Navigation in Ann Arbor is usually very good, though, I heard someone complain that the last festival had a someone (probably an out-of-towner) that was causing issues.  I'm guessing that it might be that they had a nuevo track that time.  The locals are great, and the festivals don't get a whole lot of West Coast people.  In my experience there, it seems to be folk from the West Coast that can be, let's say, energetic.  The dancers from NY, DC, Montreal, Toronto, and the Midwest usually fit right in.  And ronda is always moving at a nice pace.
