As we were discussing before there are tangos with singers only for listening and tangos with singers for dancing, and a times for both listening at the beginning and then for dancing.

Tangos for listening. The vocalist sings the whole tango.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxs0--0BMp0 'Olvido'- Charlo sings in an old Argentine Movie "Puerto Nuevo". The scene shows a club where people just listens to tangos.

There are tangos that are recitations, they are also for listening.

Tangos with singers that are for dancing. The singer (Estribillista) sings just for a moment in the mid portion of the tango or close to the end.

Sometimes the "Estribillista" sings at the beginning, the public listens, the do not dance. At certain time the singer stops and every one starts to dance to the end of the tango, even when the singer comes back to sing.

This tango has a little portion at the end where the beat changes to that of the primitive tangos 2x2 simmilar to the milonga.
This particular tango has a recitation as well.
