[Tango-L] new shoes - getting very hot when dancing

I asked my wife about this. She has flabella shoes and also other well known brands (tango brujo, comme il faut, neo tango, fabios...). She wears the flabella ones a lot and she tells me they don't get any more or less hot than the other ones. Most of her shoes are open toe so that would probably make a difference as would the sort of stockings being worn I guess. I see most women in those ones that stop at the ankles these days.

It is probably the insole. Some Argentine shoes have
plastic insoles which do not breathe. Better to have
leather insoles. You can buy replacements - even nice
fluffy cotton insoles- thru Dr. Scholl's or other foot
product companies. Gel soles are good for comfort but
they don't 'breathe' either.
She can try putting foot powder (Gold Bond or
Lotromin) in the shoes, too.
