Victor,
I am happy to see that your taste in tango dance runs along the lines of authentic Argentine tango. I congratulate you on your good taste. The videos you posted show some really good, skilled dancers. However, I don't understand why you call this dancing "misleading". There is nothing misleading in any of the samples you chose. You are right that some of the best social dancers don't appear in youtube. That's probably because their dancing is not as noticeable and skilled as the better dancers who've achieved higher levels of skill and talent. It's the same reason why the best at any skill are more famous than the average. As an illustration, take a look at this:

One could say that the essence of skating is the little kid down the street just enjoying him or herself skating on the neighborhood sidewalks. However, one cannot deny the superiority of the best.
