I agree with you.
In a Portland tango festival, at the end of a class we had to dance and somehow I ended dancing with other man.
He was a fantastic dancer he could follow me much better than the followers I was used to dance with.
And for some reason I did not enjoy this perfect dance. Elemer in Redmond
