I've started to do this as well.

I highly recommend this for all leaders no matter what their level.   
Drop into a beginner class on a regular basis.  I picked up a detail  
last night alone that in my privates I was getting but clearly not  
understanding.

At the same time leaders I highly recommend throwing your ego and  
your manhood right out the window and learning how to follow!  Trust  
me it will give you a world of perspective as well as a world of  
understanding for what you SHOULD be doing versus what she's doing!
