Lucia, I have been holding this in a long time, but you yourself are the one
who has been told several times, in so many words by various people on this
list already:"You don't know me, have never met me, so how can you naturally
assume that I am (a bad dancer, a bad teacher, a bad dj... tick one) and
blame me for it?" Irresponsible, yes.

Irresponsible to encourage someone to continue dancing ? Brain suergery I
might understand but dancing ?

Well, Rob, actually this list is not all that different from the milonga
that you attended: a lot of people here assume that it is their role to tell
others what they are supposed to be doing and not to be doing, put them in
their place etcetc. You probably know that tango attracts a lot of big (or
too small and compensated) egos, and is traditionally a chance for
compadritos to show off?
This culture, paired with a bunch of invisible people pretending to be
better-than-thou-saints on the internet is what makes up a lot of Tango-L.
..

sorry
; )
Astrid

P.S.
I think, you should find another milonga or hang out with those dancers that
have no need for bossing others around and are just there for the enjoyment
of the dance.
