I concur with Manuel.  Melanie should have kept the
message private.

  However, I can also tell you that Alberto recently
posted to an Argentine newsgroup his delight at
purchasing ( among others) a four volume set of the
Kama Sutra and his surprise at finding that even in
the 4th-7th centuries there were semantic discussions
about the embrace.   We should also remember that
Alberto is working with three languages here:  Hindi,
Castellano ( his primary language) and English.  He
has always behaved in the most respectful and
scholarly manner on this list and has been extrememly
helpful to many readers of the list.  I understand
Melanie's discomfort, but I  think we should grant Sr.
Gesualdi the benefit of the doubt.
