[Tango-L] Bridgestone ad

  The ad you saw from Bridgestone is made with an argentine couple, Silvio Grand and Mayra Gallant, that also made some ads for Citibank and Telefe ( a local argentine open air TV channel) .
   
  I do not see the ad you mention, but saw this couple in an interesting short film recently released, Tango, un giro extraño, by director  Mercedes Garcia Quesada, wich is a kind of upgrade or look on what is going on with young people here in Buenos Aires and tango. 
   
  There are shorcuts on this movie showing some people from the .... i am bit reluctant to use this word... "new" tango, such as Acho Estol, the tango writer for La chicana group, also Dolores Sola their singer , Fernando Otero and a dancer , Juan Fossatti.
   
  The problem with this movie is that they are not block busters such as Superman returns, or Pirates from the Caribbean II, so they are shown in one or two cinemas in Buenos Aires, that are run for argentine films, the Tita Merello complex, and the Gaumont complex, a former big old fashion cinema now recycled .
   
  Anyway, the film , is a very good one , it is 80 minutes long, and very amusing . Maybe his category of "documentary" was not a good promotion for it .
   
  This couple of Silvio Grand and Mayra Gallant , usually make their tango scenes with Amurado by Pedro Laurentz , or Saludos by Federico . I am not sure this may be the  tangos they use for the Bridgetone ad
