There is no end to Travis's influence in MIT undergraduate education: ESG, 
Charm School, Freshman seminars, and many aspects of the HASS curriculum 
are examples of areas where he made an enormous and positive 
difference.  His energy and creativity were remarkable, and for me, as for 
many others, he was a delightful colleague and friend.  We have lost an 
extraordinary member of the MIT community.
