Offline Approval to ECC via Outlook

Snehal,  I have done something like this only from CRM using inbound processing.  Email gets sent to user, they approve a quote by clicking on a link.  That sends an email to CRM and via inbound processing, I have code that update the quote.  All offline.  Let me know if I should did up my notes.

Thanks Jocelyn and Florin. The extended notification works only in the network. Our requirement is a truely offline solution.

From ECC, we are able to send the email with the link, but user has to click on the link and send a reply back to SAP with this solution.

Thanks & Regards,
Snehal

Glad you found an answer Florin... just btw it does sound more like the Duet approach from what I've seen.

But it was the client's requirement that the users HAVE TO identify themself again by providing SAP username and correct password.
