XML import failed when opening definition

Hi all,
 
when I try to open a workflow definition, I get the error message
SWF_CNT_001 014.
This is "XML import of container 'WS999001470068S' failed"
 
Can anyone tell me what is wrong? Is there an XML setting? Of is there
an issue with a container element?
 
This is a workflow without XML-persistence (so old type workflow).
 
Remark: I can not go back to an earlier version, but I also tried to
open een earlier version and this version also gives the same error.
