Question about standard task 31000007

Hi,

We are implementing CATS with approval required.  We've configured the
respective profile to use standard task 31000007.  When we tested this, it
works and the approver gets to see it in UWL and do the necessary process.
However, sometimes it the workitem doesn't appear in the UWL of the
manager.  We've debugged it and the role resolution program selected the
position of the manager correctly and then it will create the workitem
without any errors, but still noting comes up in the manager's UWL.

Basically, my question is how do we see the workitem in the log?  We would
like to know what is going with the workitem when the expected manager
doesn't receive it.  Transaction SWI1 won't show the task and it's not
available when go to the choices in the selection screen.

Can anyone advice?
