Sub-Workflow Hangs!

Hi All,



The subworkflow has a dialog activity step that shows completed status. The subworkflow still appears to be in InProcess. This dialog activity is a web activity (HCM Adobe Form). When I see the technical log - I find the proc status field filled (approved) and the agent who has approved it. The step history of this dialog step also shows all green.



Still the subworkflow hangs!



We have actually completed the subworkflow manually which solved the reported issue but then one question that still lies is - what might be the root cause! Why the subworkflow still in process when the dialog step is already complete?



Please share your thoughts!

A subworkflow has a dialog task and even when user completes the task from his/her SAP Inbox - the subworkflow seems to be still in process.



When we see the graphical workflow log - we see the green path even after this task - confirming that the task is indeed complete!



The subworkflow is till hanging / in process - please advice as to how to over come this issue!
