DUET workflow approval

Hi

I am interested in exploring the use of DUET as the user interface for an 
Approval workflow. Does anyone have some links/suggestions of how/where to 
get hold of the necessary software to create a demo. Do I need a DUET 
server to start, or is there something I can run on my laptop for the time 
being?
