Default leg

Hi there Chithra,

There is no "default leg" on a decision step, just like there is not a
"default leg" when a work item is started and exited without completing
it. The status of a work item goes from "Ready" to "In-Process" or
"Started" when the user (agent) for that work item has clicked on it and
has not completed executing the task.

You perhaps are referring to the "extra" button that appears on a
decision step, which does not have a branch of its own in the workflow.
That button is to simply allow the user to exit the work item and keep
the work item in their inbox to make the decision later on.

I hope this makes sense.

Hi,
In a user decision step we have three legs, Approved,Reject and forward.
By default there is another leg that is cancel and keep in inbox.

In our workflow we have a status which in case of the three legs we
change from submitted to in progress .But in the case of the default leg
it still says submitted. The business wants that to also to change to in
progress, as a user has technically looked at the wi and decided to cancel
and keep it in his inbox for a future decision.

How do i access the that default leg that i cannot see in the workflow
thanks
regards
