Hi

If you want to change the storage area, create a new content repository,
then new storage category. Use Tx SKPR08 to change the default category to
your new category.

Hi,

Some years ago I managed to have the GOS documents stored on the content
server by following guidelines in SAP note 530792.

Cheers,
Claus.

Could you please explain how to create the SOFM if documents are stored in

Hello everyone,

While on the subject, has anyone managed or attempted to create
attachments
for e-mails sent through Notifications?

If I recall correctly, there were options for this in Workflow
Notifications
customizing, but the relevant sections in the implementing classes were
empty as of ECC 6 (no EnhP).

Hi Meli,

I'm not sure how the attachments are linked to the PR. I assume it is
linked
through GOS. If this is true, then you're lucky.

Read table SRGBTBREL according to BUS2105 and PR number. The table
contains
link to SOFM objects. Just instantiate these SOFMs and pass them to
container element ATTACHMENT of send mail step.

If your attachments are stored in DMS content server there's another
solution to create the SOFM.

Please try and let me know if you need further assistance. Please also
note
that such will increase the size of messages, cause attachments could be
large files...

Good luck!

Dear colleagues,

We have purchase requisition (PR) workflow in use and integration between
SAP and Outlook; workflows are approved via Outlook or Blackberry.

Now there is such a requirement that when a document is linked to PR by
using service object in PR I need to fetch this document as an attachment
of
Outlook mail. Before adding document(s) to PR(s), initially we create
document info record (DIR) using SAP EDMS and link DIR with PR.

I know that data about documents are stored in tables DR* and original
path
of a document is stored in table DRAW- FILEP.

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Kind regards

Melih

Hi Guys,
FYI, You can actually use the Extended Notifications (config SWNCONFIG /
program SWN_SELSEN) to send links to Outlook mail including work item
execution links to a WebDynpro application.

The critical factor here (on top of the usual config... see blogs etc. on
SDN) is to fill in the SWNCONFIG General Settings parameter WD_HOST and in
the Subscription section choose the appropriate link type to allow
creation
of the work item links.

Could save you a lot of effort.

It also helps to have set up your WD call in transaction SWFVISU - even if
you aren't using the UWL - as it will build the call based on the Task
Visualization config there.

Regards,
Jocelyn

Hi,
That's already maped, but I'm not able to call my WD from SAP.

We made some "developments" with our customers. We decidet to not to map
SBWP on portal, but I have to send az Outlook mail concerning the link to
the specified WD. Now I'm facing problem to create the "variable" part of
my
link.
So, my question is the following: is that possible to create a link to
call
a web dynpro with input parameters from SAP?

Thanks in advance
ZSolt

Hi,

You need to map the WD application with Specific workflow task under
Tcode-SWF_VISU.

administrator forward in SWIA?
I have to update a customer table when a certain workitem is forwarded by
an
administrator.

Thanks in advance
Zsolt
