Call for 'Intent to Speak' at ASUG Annual Conference

Hi all,

The preparations for next spring's ASUG Annual Conference (co-located with
another little event called SAPPHIRE) are underway.

The process is a little bit different this year, and I am not sure why, but
here goes:

1)      If someone wants to present in a particular category, they should
visit the survey mentioned below to fill out the 'Call for Presentations
Survey'.  

2)      Following this survey, I guess the room and time allocations will be
made, partially based on the number of 'intents' declared for various
themes.

3)      December 1, the formal Call for Presentations comes out, which will
be similar to what many of you have seen in the past.

 

If anyone has a great WF (/BRF/BPM) story to share, I encourage you to fill
out the survey ASAP.  Filling out the survey does not lock you in in any
way.   It does not guarantee you a speaker slot either.  Over the past 5
years, we (the WF/BPM group among many others) have seen the number of
sessions decrease - not due to lack of interest of course - but due to
simple time and space constraints.  BUT, filling out the survey is one way
that the conference planners have of gauging interest, so it benefits any
potential speakers or attendees for there to be some significant activity in
the Workflow/BRF/BPM area - I recommend you use the
Integration/Middleware/BPM category.
