Font change in mail content

Hi ,

Is there any way to make some part of the mail content to be appeared as
bold.... i am using SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 Fm to send the mail...My
project manager wants to make the parts of the mail content to be bold
like...

Status                    *:
*Change Manager*   :

can this be done  ? .........any suggestions............
