1. So this FM can be used in a task using a method. So can I use it in
an activity , then.
2. yes for the Workflow id wi_stat is shown as completed. I thought
there will be a notification when the whole WF comes to an end.

Thank you
Mike R

Hi All,

Hello.
I have 2 queries in Workflow.
1. Can I send email to an external id without using 'send email' step type.
2. How to find if the workflow is finished. How will the users know that the workflow is all done.

Thanks,
Mike R

Hi Mike,

1) SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 function module with receiver type 'A'.
2) Table SWWWIHEAD and field WI_STAT as completed.

Hello All,

In case anyone is interested there is a new note (Note 1466033) which includes the system ID & client in system generated emails.
Handy if you have multiple systems using workflow and a central pool of people (Or person) acting as WF Admin.

* 1466033 - System ID missing in generated mails

Only valid as of Basis 700.

Regards,
Eddie

Eddie, have you seen my posting a couple of days ago? Is it possible to
get the error message (generated by the BOR/OO exceptions) also in the
Workflow Admin email?

Regards,
Ramki.

Priyank

I have gone through the recent questions posted by you to this group. It is
quite clear that you have no understanding of workflow in SAP, so it would
be advisable for you to make effort to learn it first through blogs, sdn,
sap help, etc. and then approach this group with some high calibre
questions. Please don't get me wrong but this group comproses of people who
work but are happy to help but you need to devote some time from your side
to acquire knowledge on your own, like I said there are many resources on
the net.
Good Luck.

Ravi
