PO as an attachment on final release

Hi All,
I have a requirement where I have to send PO as an PDF attachment to the PO creator when the  final release is done.
i can do this using the spool id,but the issue is it has to be done on the release of the PO, while spool id is generated only when print request is given.
Any suggestions?
