Filtering certain tasks from appearing in UWL

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but if they are not supposed to see a
task then surely the answer would be not to send it to them, no? 

 

If the agent determination rules are too messy to take this into account
then just make a group of portal users who become excluded agents of the
task. Or restrict possible agents by some role that portal users don't have.
Or...

Hi there Andy, 

But the scenario is we have tasks that are designed to work only in ECC SBWP
(advance with dialog, for instance) and are meant to be processed by people
that "live" in the SBWP using SAP-GUI, whereas we are trying to introduce
work items for the "casual, non-SAP GUI" user via the Portal's UWL. 

So far, we have only been able to display "decision" tasks in UWL, other
tasks are not appearing at all, unless we remove the "DefaultView" settings
from the XML.

Hi everyone, 
  
We're trying to limit which kind of tasks appear in the Portal via UWL.   We
were able to successfully hide "unwanted" tasks by defining in the Default
View which type of tasks we would like to display.  It seems to work fine,
but only for "decision" tasks.   We have a task that is not a decision task
and we have be able to make it should, without allowing ALL tasks to appear.

  
I've tried defining it as:  uwl.task.webflow.default.TS9300002,
uwl.task.webflow.TS93000020 or uwl.task.TS93000020, and none work. 
  
Any ideas? 
  
We are in Portal 7.01 ehp1 sp4 and ECC 6.0.
