Hi Rick, 

An incorrect answer may have been reported - mainly because there are plenty
of irrelevant answers and folks are fed up with them. I guess - by your own
admission - yours fell into that category so don't take it personally if a
moderator deleted it in response to a complaint. (From your example I know
that one wasn't me :-) )

On the SDN/Jive moderation console it's a simple job to press a single
button to reject a reported post. Writing an email is another mission so for
a moderator with dozens of these, the 'R' button is the preferred choice. We
would rather spend time posting on the WUG than fill out 'Reason for
rejection' notices :-)
 
BTW, an SDN post also get rejected automatically after 5 reports.
