Happened to me as well. I gave an honest though possibly incorrect
answer to a question (nothing controversial, I can assure you) and it
got deleted. I did get an email saying it had been deleted but with no
details of who did it or a reasonable explanation why.

Since then I haven't posted as much. Beware of over-eager moderators!

If I can find the email, I'll send it to you.
