Hi Koenraad, 

As an SCN moderator (1), I find this a little bit concerning as things
should not work that way. Could you please let me know some more details if
you still have the info, and I can look into this. From my part I certainly
never delete posts unless they are way out of line - usually I edit them
with some explanatory comments. Also, forum moderators are supposed to be
approachable rather than the 'can't compete' view you describe. 

You can let me know via private mail - I just wanted to post this on the
list in case anyone else had such experiences.
