Sue,

Thanks for the link to the thread you provided. I have actually discussed the thread with our Basis person; however, it doesn't appear to apply to our situation because we are using Excel and not Adobe in the workflow. Per discussion with our user, we discovered the reason for the message was because he was copying text from another spreadsheet into the Document from Template and this was creating a link. Once he broke the link that was created, the error message did not appear.

Thanks for your reply,

Hope you had a nice Christmas with your family :)

Miguel

Hi All,

All the business objects in SAP are based on application area designed with
*BO data model*. But there are certain application area in SAP like SAP-ISU
where all the business object are not falling in any *BO data mode*l.

Can anybody explain me why this approach is taken by SAP and what is the
advantage of the same.

Guru Dutt

Hi,

I've been working with BOR Objects (Object Category BO) for 6 years now in IS-U, so your question doesn't make much sense to me. Could you elaborate a bit more?

Subject: Memory Protection Fault in OLE Container Control:
SOFFICEINTEGRATION101

Hello Wuggers,

Wanted to know if anyone has experienced a similar problem when utilizing a
start form for a workflow that has a document from template step. Our SAP
user is trying to launch a workflow that utilizes a start form. After he
adds an attachment and proceeds to click "Start," he receives the following
message listed below:

Memory Protection Fault in OLE Container Control

Message no. SOFFICEINTEGRATION101

Even though he receives this message, it appears the workflow still starts
because he can retrieve it in his SAP Inbox despite the message to fill out
the Document from Template step. Another strange thing happening is that he
is not able to open another excel spreadsheet as he completes the Document
from Template.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Miguel R. Viera
