Revert Workflow Automatic Customizing

Hi All,
     During upgrading our system we had to do the initial Cutomizing of
Workflows which I did through 'SWU3'. But Accidentaly I executed all the
steps in the transaction which did some cutomizing irrelevent to our current
settings of our system. This has caused a reverse effect in our PO release
strategy workflows where the Workflows is getting trigerred for Purchase
Orders which does not require a release strategy. Can any one please let me
know whynis this happening and how can this be avoided.

Alternative if you can suggest me a way to redo the automatic cutomizing
then that would be great. I am aware that we can do this by refreshing our
system, But i am looking for an option where in we reset the current
cutomizing and redo them.
