how does the Timesheet workflows trigger

Hi Rakesh,

CATS timesheet config is very specific to CATS. Not conventional as other workflows.
There is a single standard task that is sent to an approver.
There is no workflow template.
In the configuration there is a checkbox that also has to be checked in order for the workflow to work.
Look in the IMG. You must maintain the workflow for each data profile that is configured.
Use menu path,  Cross-Application Components -> Timesheet -> Specific Settings for cats regular -> CATS regular -> Record Working Time -> Set Up data profiles...
Next double-click on the profile you want to update. You'll find a workflow frame for workflow settings, that is where the task is maintained. There are also BADI's which you can use to refine the selection of the approval report for approval in transaction CATS_APPR_LITE.

how does the timesheet(cat) workflows trigger? i mean it triggers by the event or task? i can't find any workflow template for timesheet but when i submit the timesheet there is a work item generated in the manager inbox. please can someone guide on this clearly.
