Event not generated via change in User Status

Hi,

I need help in understanding the following issue. I already searched the mailing list and some other sources , but couldn't find a solution. In our scenario we are to generate event via status management. However even when the statuses are changed the events are not generated.

The objects in picture are
1. Custom BO ZCMR
2. User status for CRMD_ORDER

The settings are
1. User statuses / Status profile created
2. Events of custom BO ZCMR linked to certain user status. The status should be active to trigger the event.
3. Status Approved, should trigger ZCMR-APPROVED .

Even though entire setup seems to be correct, when somebody tries to change the status of the credit memo no event is generated.

The test
1. An event linkage is active to trigger ZCMR-SAVE when a new credit memo is created. Works fine which shows, there's nothing wrong with the object definition.
2. Not working event after buffer sync.
3. I also tried to use a standard active BO in place of custom BO in status management, however even that event was not generated

Any pointers
Manish
