Hi Mamun,

I'm quite positive transaction code CC01 should exists.
What system version are you using ?

Several alternatives:
Make sure you entered CC01 (it is zero and not O).
Try to run program SAPMC29C from t.code SE38.
Try to run t.code CC31 and then change radio button from ECR to "Change Master".
Using t.code SWO1 try to run method create for object type ECM.
Run transaction SE93 and look for t.code CC01. Its description is "Create Change Master". Try to run it from there using F8.
Please try & notify.

Dear Mamun,

Basically you have two options:
Delegate BUS2078, create new method which simply call transaction CC01. Create task based on this method and add it to your workflow template.
Create task based ECM.CREATE and add it to your workflow template.
Good luck.

Hi gurus,

For our workflow we are using BUS2078. Now the requirement is that in one
step we have to use the transaction cc01 change master. It says that in the
notification if somebody puts a certain status, transaction cc01 will open
and let them do the necessary work and when they save that normal workflow
steps will carry on.
I am really not sure how to move forward with this. I am farely new in
workflow. Please help.

with thanks
Mamun

Hi all,

I am currently in the process of estimating the data archiving of work items. Transaction SARA, the archiving object WORKITEM, and the process of data archiving are familiar to me.

We have multiple different workflow processes running. The requirements for archiving/retention etc. have not yet been defined, but I assume that the information, which must be available the next N amount of years, is the approval related information of the documents within the workflows (who approved travel expense X in year 2006, etc.).

In many scenarios this kind of information is already stored in the application/document itself ? you can see who has changed the status of a document to approved, etc. This leads to the fact that it is just a few document types, for which you need to go into the workflow log to find out the agent of a certain (approval) task. And this leads to the situation, that if you use the standard archiving object WORKITEM, you are archiving lots of unnecessary data. It would be just the few workflow types that require archiving, since their documents? approval data is only available in the workflow log.

How do you handle this? Do you just archive everything? Or do you for example build your workflows at the first place in a way that all the relevant data is stored (also) in somewhere else (where?) than the work item tables (and then you don?t have to archive the work items permanently - just delete them)?

Any discussion & guidelines regarding this issue are most welcome.

Best regards,
Karri

Thanks a lot for your reply Shai.

I have created a method to call transaction cc01 and a task as well. But
when I am trying to execute I am getting a message
'Transaction cc01 is not listed in the table of transaction codes. Table
TSTC contains no entry for the transaction cc01'

Please help.

with thanks
Mamun
