SRM WF's

Veit,

I did some more investigating on the SRM WF's & yes if you have a WF activated w/a condition & the condition isn't met you will get the 'No Approval WF Found' message. And if you have 2 WF's activated with the same Event w/varying conditions the conditions have to be opposite enough so that it wouldn't be possible for them both to be satisfied or you'll get the 'WF is Ambiguous' message. If I remember correctly in R/3 it's not so restrictive, it will let you have no WF triggered or both triggered. My apologies to the group for not changing the Subject, but I thought I was replying to Eddie on another related issue email we've been communicating on.

  Hi Jeff,

there must be a condition for every thinkable case. For those cases where you do not need approval you can use simple standard templates that just run through automatically without approval. In case of Shopping Cart you can use WS10000060 as an example.

  kind regards,
  Veit Unger

  Hi Jeff,

I have not seen this before.....I work more on traditional workflow
rather than SRM specific. Let me look into it.

  Regards,
  Eddie

  Eddie,

Sorry to email you directly on this, but was looking for a quick &
correct answer. On the SRM WF's like SC & PO, when you have WF Start
Conditions defined & the User creates a SC or PO that doesn't meet the
conditions then they get the error message "No Approval WF Found". My
question is, is this how it's supposed to work or is it a bug? And if
it is std. then how does the User have the capability to place the
Order when not meeting the conditions & doesn't need an Approval WF?

  Thanx,
