Deleting Workflow

Hi Akshay,

As you say 'workflow needs to be deleted from user
inbox, when workflow creator comes to know that
workflow was started my mistake', i understand that
workflow initiator should be in a position to stop the
workflow whenever he wants. This can be done in
following way

1. create a parallel fork in your main workflow,
create a wait step for some event ( say WORKAROUND in
BO). join this parallel fork branch to end of
workflow.

2. Whenever this event is received the normal flow
wherever it may be, will be logically deleted, (if any
user decision items, they will also be removed from
users inboxes) and flow will follow parallel fork as
per above definition it will come to end of workflow.

3. A report program can be developed (with proper
authorizations to control only workflow initiators can
execute). This report should raise the required event
for the point1.

4. So whenever workflow initiator feels that he wanted
to end the workflow, he can use this report.

However, may be its a good idea not to start the
workflow if it is not really required, may be you can
put restrictions using 'Check Function Module' or may
be at start conditions.

Thanks and Regards
