Parked .vs. Posted Invoice

Hi Murali,

Your FI or MM functional people could explain this better, but a Parked 
Invoice allows the AP folks to enter partial details about an invoice 
and Park it (or hold it, if you will) while they await further 
information, or send it out for some sort of approval. A Parked Invoice 
can be changed and so forth until it is correct.

When an Invoice is Posted, the document has true financial impact - you 
create a credit to the vendor's account and debit expenses.  (I am not 
an accountant, so this could be bass ackwards).

By the way, it is much more likely that you will get answers to 
questions posted on this forum if you make the subject line of your
