Issue with shopping cart not reaching subsequent approver

When you say that an item has two approvers do you mean that it needs to
go through two approval levels? Yes the item needs to go through 2
approval levels Are you testing a cart with only this one item or is
this a test a part of a more complex cart? The cart has only 1 item.

 

When you look at the log of WS14500013 and you see the Approval Step
what do the agents show? What does the container element ACTUALAGENTS
contain? The agents and the actual agents for this step both contain the
1st approver - the 2nd approver isn't shown

 

For the approver who should be but isn't receiving the 2nd level of
approval, have you tested a scenario where they are the first or only
approver to make sure they have all the necessary authorities?  Yes I've
swapped them round and even tried this with a 2nd approver who has
SAP_ALL so it isn't authorizations.

 

The thing is the approval preview of the SC looks fine - doesn't this
indicate that the BADI is working correctly?

I have a question on the N-step line item approval of shopping cart
workflow (WS14500015 - BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI). This workflow has been
working fine in DEV. Today I noticed a problem in that if an item has
more than 1 approver the SC will go to the first approver who approves
it. It then never appears in the 2 nd approvers inbox. Despite this the
approval preview looks fine. It indicates that the item has been
approved by the first approver and that it is awaiting approval from the
2nd approver - the 2 nd approver just never gets it.

 

Any ideas?

 

We're on SRM 4.0 SAPKB64016.
