Workflow implementation in international company

Hi all,
I happen to meet a very odd question which I'd like to share. I
implement workflow in a company which has several sites in the world. As
you all know, the format of dates as well as numbers with decimals (in
task text for example) are set according to user WF-BATCH. However, the
date format in US is different than the one in Europe. Same goes for
decimals notation in amounts for example.

How do we handle it? Currently, since each country has different company
code, I set the format accordingly, however I wandered if there's
something classic.

Thanks in advance,
Shai E.

Try to use function BLOCK CORRECTION.

You find it in Tx PFTC - Desinger Menue: EXTRAS -> SPECIAL-FUNCTIONS.

Maybe it helps.

Dear group,

I have encountered a problem with one of my changes within a workflow.
For some reason the ending of a step is not recognized and the step
makes the workflow crash when in runtime.

Editing the step will give strange results by editing the next step
behind my container task.

The created container task will not be cut, copied or deleted and adding
steps behind the created step is not possible anymore. From the point of
the new created step till the end of the flow I can not ad another step.

I have added an attachment which contains some screenshots and a more
extensive explanation.

Thanks for your input in advance!

Best regards,

   Hendrik Jan Christians

Hi Akshay

If i'm right, this the rule resolution for determining the agents
correct?
One indirect way of verifying your rule, would be to goto the workflow
log and check the container elements/agents if they are properly
appearing alternatively do a container monitor and check during work
item execution.
I'm not sure of how to absolutely do it in debugging.

Vijay

I'm sorry that i did not discribe al my actions. I already used the
block correction, but without any affect. I just tried to make a new
version and i made a copy, but both without any luck.

Thanks for you're input. I hope for more replies, because my issue still
exists.
